Get your credentials
Fiscalapi authenticates every request with two credentials: an API key and your tenant (the space in Fiscalapi that holds your issuers, recipients, credits, and data). Both are required. Authentication explains how to send them in your request headers.
Generate an API key
Fiscalapi generates a unique value for each API key. You can assign each API key to a person (any individual or legal entity registered in your tenant): an issuer or anyone who signs in to your tenant.
- Sign in to Fiscalapi and go to Developers > Api Keys.

- Click the + button, assign a person to the API key, and click Guardar (Save).

Get your tenant
The tenant is the unique ID of your space in Fiscalapi, and Fiscalapi generates it for you. To get it, go to Perfil (Profile) in Fiscalapi and copy the TID (Tenant ID) value.
