Quickstart
This guide walks you through integrating with Fiscalapi, from signing up to issuing your first CFDI (Mexico's electronic invoice).
Every integration starts in the test environment, which is free. There, the data is fictitious, invoices aren't valid for tax purposes, and stamps (one credit each, used each time you stamp a CFDI) have no monetary value. You pay for the subscription and your purchases with Fiscalapi's test cards.
Steps to get started
- Sign up in the test environment and confirm your email with the link you receive.
- If you want Fiscalapi to issue you the test invoice for your purchases on the platform, enter your tax details in your Perfil (Profile). This step is optional.
- Activate a trial subscription and buy stamps. To stamp invoices (stamping: the certification by a SAT-authorized provider that makes a CFDI valid), you need an active subscription and available stamps in your tenant (the space in Fiscalapi that holds your issuers, recipients, credits, and data).
- With your subscription active and your stamps in place, get your credentials to authenticate your API requests.
Create your first invoice
With your tenant ready, you can issue your first invoice. First, read about the modes of operation, which define how you send the invoice data. Then follow the tutorials to create your first person (any individual or legal entity registered in your tenant), your first CFDI product, and your first invoice.
